Content: Binding: Contemporary dark brown calf with overlapping flap on back board, blind-stamped, by Willem de Backere (cf. Nijhoff & Kronenberg). Each board stamped with a tripartite panel (birds, animals, foliage, etc.; includes binder's name in form Wilhelm[us] Bac ...). Binding incorporates ms. fragments on vellum. Two brass clasps on flap are secured to catches on front board with a brass stylus. Rebacked; new hinge to flap. In modern brown calf solander case.
Content: Pages [17-40] are blank leaves of coated parchment that may be written on with a stylus.
