Although most are general impressions rather than portraits of specific jazz musicians, 1 of the original ink drawings is of Louis Armstrong ; 1 of the originals and 1 of the photocopies are captioned "Coltraine" [i.e. John Coltrane] ; and other photocopied drawings are of Charlie Parker, and Bunk Johnson.
