Content: Queen Caroline traveled on horseback through the Holy Land in July of 1816; upon her return to Milan, she commissioned Carloni to paint his grand portrait, The Entry of St. Caroline into Jerusalem (cf. Flora Fraser's Unruly Queen, p. 286).
Statement of responsibility: Painted by Signor Carloni, at the command and according to the directions of Her Majesty
Content: Large folding etched plate loosely inserted, a diagram based upon the Carloni painting, with numbers corresponding to a guide (on p. 10-13) of the figures represented.
