Description
Translated as "A lake of swans," this television film is about the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov as a young ballet student and a beginning performer with many other unidentified ballet teachers and students. The film mostly depicts the everyday routine of vigorous training at the school with excerpts from early performances by young ballet dancers including complete final Pas de deux from Don Quixote performed by M. Baryshnikov and an unidentified female dancer.
