Zarin Mehta, executive director of the New York Philharmonic, interviews Ida Haendel, the legendary violinist. Haendel talks about her life, family, professional background, her teachers, such as Carl Flesch and Georges Enesco, and her own musical and teaching career. Then Haendel gives a master class to two young violinists.
