In this video, conductor Mitch Miller leads the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in an all-Gershwin studio session performance, and he also talks with soprano Gail Nelson and pianist Patricia Hoy between works and at the end. Music: "An American in Paris" (with shots of the cameras and the techincal crew behind the scenes) ; Porgy and Bess: "Summertime" ; "I loves you Porgy" (Gail Nelson, soprano) ; "Rhapsody in blue" (Patricia Hoy, piano) ; Girl crazy medley: "But not for me" ; "Embraceable you" ; "Bidin' my time" ; "I got rhythm" (Gail Nelson, soprano) ; [End of] "An American in Paris" (1 min. finale) / music by G. Gerswhin, lyrics by I. Gershwin.
