Description
In this radio broadcast (Inside the music), James Jeter and Larry Tietze from the Virtuosi Quintet talk to host Matthew Field about their background and performance histories, and about their concert series at the New York Historical Society. According to Jeter and Larry Tietze, one of the works they will perform on the Feburary 22, 1987 concert (second concert of series) is "Amusement trios" by Micah Hawkins. They also talk about performing Joseph Ambrosio's "Woodwind quintet" (NMYE 1975 prizewinner) at the October 19, 1986 concert (first concert of the series).
