Content: Yungdrung Choeling Drup: Chamjug Rehearsal, First Day (Jan. 11, 2006): Peling Phag Cham - Dance of the Boar ; Sangay Lingpai Ngacham - The Drum Dance of Sangay Lingpa.
Venue: Videotaped in performance at the Yungdrung Choeling Dzong, in Trongsa, Bhutan (ground level: looking along the left diagonal at the Lhakang across the courtyard), on Jan. 11, 2006.

Description
This is from Rehearsal day and was a test to check shooting positions. This was taken from the Lhakhang face (top left [overhead]) on the second floor. This creates a large foreshortening of the figures - fine for overviews - circles and other designs - but for anything like this dance - only when the dancers were at the bottom of the arena does the figure appear ok. Ultimately we decided against this position. Notice that the tape ID refers to 12/1/06 - and continues through with dances of Day One - not the rehearsal day itself.
