From the dance detail on the Merce Cunningham Trust website: "With 'Fractions I' Merce Cunningham was interested in having several actions appear at the same time on the screen. Television monitors were incorporated into the dance which showed details of the dance movements being danced or different movements altogether. Filmed at the Merce Cunningham Studio, Westbeth, New York, NY."
