Three modern dance works respectively set to pop songs of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. This telecast presents them in a single setting that evolves from a dance hall to a movie theater to a hippies' pad. Choreographer Paul Taylor makes a cameo appearance at the opening of the program.
