Description
Leida Snow interviews Mirra Bank, American film and theater director and producer. Bank talks about her family and professional background, about her Jewishness, about her career that she switched from painting to filmmaking, and about various documentary and feature films that she directed and produced such as Anonymous was a woman (1977), Enormous changes at the last minute (1983), Nobody's girls (1985), and others. She also speaks about her experience working for public television, directing the PBS series ''The originals: women in art,'' and about her new experience making films based on her own screenplays.
