Notes
Biographical/historical: The Westchester Playhouse in Mount Kisco, New York (1932 - 1940) was one of the first prominent summer stock theaters in the United States. It helped launch the careers of many successful actors, including Henry Fonda, Vincent Price, Anna May Wong, Jose Ferrer, Uta Hagen and Herbert Berghof and Frances Farmer. Frank Day Tuttle (1902-1989), was one of the founding directors. The play Margin for Error by Clare Booth Luce was the 105th production and the last show produced by Tuttle and Richard Skinner at the Westchester Playhouse. After the Westchester Playhouse closed, Tuttle had a long career in theater and radio.
