Sound quality is fair. The recording is marred by extraneous noise due to the fact that the interview is being conducted in a restaurant. However, the speakers' voices are easily intelligible.

[Begins abruptly.] Klarna Pinska speaks with Walter Terry about her collaboration with Joyce Trisler, to stage a program of recreated Denishawn dances [entitled: The spirit of Denishawn]; other Denishawn revival projects including possible funding sources; her own dance background; auditioning for Ruth St. Denis in Canada and again in California; studying at the Denishawn School of Dancing and dancing in the Denishawn company [Denishawn Dancers]; becoming qualified to teach at the Denishawn School of Dancing; her personal background, including her birth in Kiev and emigrating with her family to Canada. Klarna Pinska speaks with Walter Terry about the Denishawn Dancers' repertoire; some of her students at the Denishawn School of Dancing; the Denishawn heritage and her hope that Joyce Trisler's company [Joyce Trisler Danscompany] will keep it alive; discussion of Ted Shawn and Ruth St. Denis, including Shawn's envy of St. Denis's charisma; anecdotes about St. Denis.
