DescriptionCostume design drawings for the ten dancers in Jerome Robbins's ballet Dances at a gathering. Each depicts a single dancer in color, with fabric swatches, Pantone color chips or painted color samples, and sometimes designer's notations. The dancers are, in order of appearance in the binder, Patricia McBride, Sara Leland, Kay Mazzo, Violette Verdy (drawing labeled "Verdi"), Allegra Kent, Edward Villella (labeled "Vilella"), Anthony Blum, Robert Maiorano (labeled "Miarano"), Bruce Wells, and John Clifford. These designs are followed by seven graphite or felt pen drawings depicting details of the costumes, mostly of the men's shirts, though the women's dresses are shown in two drawings.
